Step 1


To make the filling, combine together the castor sugar and cornstarch in a bowl and mix well. Add 1/4 cup of water and 1 cup of blueberries and mix by mashing.

Transfer in a pan. Place the pan on heat and cook till the mixture thickens.

Remove from heat, add the remaining blueberries, lemon juice and mascarpone cheese and mix well.

To make the crust, combine together the flour and butter in a bowl and mix till. Add milk and 2 tablespoons water, mix and knead into stiff dough. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.

Preheat oven at 180º C.

Roll out the dough into a thin sheet and line a pie dish. Remove the edges, place a butter paper and fill with kidney beans. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake till half done.

Remove from the oven and spread the prepared filling in the crust. Put the plate back in the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
